My Kumon Journey

My name is Anya. I just turned 10 in March. I started Kumon in September 2007. I found Kumon very easy at the start, but there was one little problem, I was still finger counting! After a while I started getting very impatient because I was getting lots of repeats. I moved on to subtraction and I was not getting repeats, may be only a few! I really badly wanted to move on to multiplication and when I moved on I was delighted. Kumon has really helped me a lot as I have been getting a lot of practice every day. I was on multiplication in school as well as in Kumon.

I surprised my Mum to other day because she asked me to do a multiplication sum for example 24 X 6. I did not do the sum on a piece of paper…guess where I did it? I did it in thin air! Imagine!!!
