Welcome to the Kumon Study Centre in Wicklow. I've been running this centre since September 2009 and it is well established in the local and wider community.
The centre caters for students of all ages and abilities. Currently, the youngest student is five and the oldest, sixteen.
The centre, not only offers help and guidance, for students who are struggling with maths or English, but is also available to students of normal or high ability, who want to stretch themselves academically.
The centre is open twice a week (Students may attend either/ both classes).
Students are required to do a piece of work everyday at home in between their attendance at class. That's everyday, seven days a week, twelve months of the year. Work typically takes 20-30 minutes a day per subject, working on the principle of "little and often". In this respect, works differently from grinds.
