My name is Valérie Micòl Bonvecchio and I'm 17 years old (Grade 11). I enrolled with Kumon three years ago. When I started with Kumon, I was 14 and had not masterd the basics in mathematics. I never really learnt much about maths before I began with Kumon, because my teacher at elementary school was always ill, so my classmates and I missed a lot.

Fortunately I found Kumon. It helped me to complete my knowledge in maths and because I belong to the advanced Kumon students, it helped me very much for school.

With Kumon I didn't only learn maths, it also gave a boost in my confidence and I learnt to concentrate and not to give up my work.

All together I can say Kumon saved me concerning maths, my confidence and my concentration and I would never want to turn back time, and I never regret my decision about learning with Kumon.

Apart from doing Kumon, I speak 3 languages: French, English and Italian. For the future, I have set new goals and wish to become a Completer of the maths programme. If I do three sheets a day, it can come true in two-and-a-half years. At the same time I want to graduate at my German High School. (German students graduate after 13 years).

My further plans are to move to Paris to start my studies at a French university.
