About the centre
Visits to the centre are an important time in each students Kumon programme. This is their opportunity to review their work and receive feedback. In class, students hand in completed home worksheets and receive new worksheets for the week ahead.
They do a piece of work in class which gives me, (David) and my assistants, a chance to observe their standard of work and study habits. Individual guidance is provided as required. When students have completed their work and it has been graded, they will have an opportunity to sit with me and review progress to date and plan their path forward.
Whatever a student's age or ability, the class visit aims to encourage a student's independence in learning, to build their study skillset and self-confidence.
